طريقة إضافة ing في زمن المضارع المستمر
نضيف ing إلى معظم الأفعال بدون تغيير في الفعل مثل wait,
waiting
مثال :
Wait for me.
I'm waiting for me.
أنتظرنى
أنا في إنتظارك
إذا كان الفعل منتهيًا بحرف e نقوم بحذفه ثم نضيف ing
Use a broom.
I'm using a broom.
إستخدم المكنسة
أنا استخدم المكنسة
إذا كان الفعل منتهيًا بحرف متحرك واحد متبوعًا بحرف ساكن واحد مثل sit نقوم
بمضاعفة الحرف الساكن الأخير ثم نضيف ing
Sit down.
I'm sitting down.
أجلس
أنا أجلس
نضاعف الحرف الساكن للفعل ذو المقطعين إذا كان التشديد على المقطع الثانى
مثل : begin, beginning
ولكن إذا لم يكن التشديد الصوتى على المقطع الثانى فلا نضاعف الساكن ونضيف ing مباشرة مثل differ,

الفعل المنتهى بـ ic تتحول إلى ick ثم نضيف ing مثل picnic, picnicking
الفعل المنتهى بـ ie تتحول إلى y ثم نضيف ing مثل lie, lying
مع الضمائر he, she, it والأسم المفرد نستخدم الفعل
المساعد is قبل الفعل المضاف له ing
مع الضمائر we, you, they والأسم الجمع نستخدم الفعل
المساعد are

Uses of the present progressive tense: 'I am working/he is
working'
إستخدامات المضارع المستمر : أنا أعمل (الآن)،
هو يعمل (الآن)
هناك أربعة إستخدامات أساسية للمضارع المستمر وهى :
1 – الفعل الذى يحدث أو يستمر أثناء الكلام مثل :
He's working at the moment.
أنه يعمل في هذه اللحظة.
2 – للحديث عن الحدث المؤقت أو الموقف الحالي وليس شرطًا أن يكون حاصلًا أو
حادثًا أثناء الكلام مثل :
My
daughter is studying English at Durham University
أبنتى تدرس اللغة الإنجليزية في جامعة درهام.
3 – حدث مخطط له planned
action مثل :
We're spending next winter in Australia.
سنقضى الشتاء القادم في إستراليا.
4 – الحدث المتكرر الوقوع مع ظروف الزمان مثل always, forever
She's always helping
people.
إنه دائمًا تساعد الناس.
تكوين المضارع المستمر
يتكون المضارع المستمر من الفعل المساعد be مع
الفعل الأساسى للجملة مضافًا له ing
يختلف الفعل المساعد حسب الضمير أو الفاعل
مع الضمير I نستخدم am
مع he, she,
it والأسم المفرد نستخدم is
مع we, you,
they والأسم الجمع نستخدم are
أمثلة :

الكلمات الدالة على المضارع المستمر
ليس للمضارع المستمر كلمات محددة للدلالة عليه لأنه
يُفهم من سياق الجملة ولكن الكلمات التي تعطى في معناها الزمن في الوقت الحالي هي كلمات
دالة عليه مثل :
الآن now،
للتو just now, right now، أسرع hurry up، في
هذه اللحظة at the moment،
أنظر look! ، أنصت listen
اليوم today،
هذا الأسبوع this week،
هذه الأيام these days،
في الوقت الحاضر at present،

تكوين الأسئلة في زمن المضارع المستمر
لتكوين الأسئلة في زمن المضارع المستمر نأتى بالفعل المساعد be قبل الفاعل وبعد الفاعل بالفعل الأساسى.
السؤال بهل :
نأتى بـ am, is, are في أول الجملة ثم نأتى بعدها
بالفاعل ثم الفعل :

في السؤال بأداة إستفهام نأتى بأداة الإستفهام في أول الجملة ثم الفعل
المساعد ثم الفاعل ثم الفعل المساعد، وتكون الإجابة حسب أداة الإستفهام:
